Terms of Use
The ground rules for using this site.
Last updated: October 2026.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to savannahvisitor.com (the “Site”), which is published by Pluripotent, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Sections 2, 8, and 9 matter most: they explain that we do not run any tours or activities and limit our responsibility for them.
1. What This Site Is
The Site is an independent travel publication about tours, attractions, and things to do in and around Savannah, Georgia. We are not a tour operator, travel agency, seller of travel, or booking platform. We do not take reservations, accept payments, hold funds, or issue tickets. The Site has no user accounts and does not publish user comments or submissions. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Visit Savannah, or any government or official tourism organization.
2. Tours, Activities, and Third-Party Operators
Every tour, activity, ticket, or other service listed or linked on the Site is provided by a third party: the business that runs it (an “operator”) or the platform that sells it, such as GetYourGuide (a “booking platform”). When you book, your contract is with that operator or booking platform, and its prices, cancellation rules, and terms apply, not ours. Questions about a booking, refund, or cancellation should go to the booking platform or operator.
2.1 We Do Not Vet Operators. We do not verify any operator’s licensing, insurance, safety record, staff, equipment, or legal compliance. Rankings, “top picks,” and descriptions are our editorial opinions, not certifications or guarantees. Ratings, reviews, and photos from booking platforms or operators belong to them, are shown as provided, and are not audited by us.
2.2 No Agency. We are not the agent, partner, or representative of any operator or booking platform, and we cannot make or change bookings or decide refunds or disputes for them.
2.3 Your Safety. Many activities carry real risks, including water activities, carriage rides, walking tours in heat or after dark, and events involving alcohol. You decide whether an activity is right for you and the people with you, including children, and you take part at your own risk. Check the operator’s safety rules, the weather, and the tides before you go.
2.4 Claims About Tours. Because we do not run, sell, or supervise any tour or activity, we are not responsible for what operators or booking platforms do or fail to do, including cancellations, delays, injuries, losses, or property damage. Claims about a tour or activity should be brought against the operator or booking platform. To the extent the law allows, you release us from claims arising from an operator’s or booking platform’s acts or omissions.
3. Accuracy of Information
We check prices, hours, and access rules against primary sources and date our updates, but details change, often without notice to us. The price, availability, and terms shown at checkout on the booking platform control. Site content is general travel information, not legal, medical, safety, or financial advice. If you spot an error, please tell us through our contact page.
4. Affiliate Links
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you book through one, we may earn a commission from the booking platform, such as GetYourGuide, at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not determine which tours we recommend or how we rank them. Pages with affiliate links say so near the links.
5. Intellectual Property
We own the Site’s text, design, original photos, maps, and analysis. Photos, listing details, ratings, and reviews from operators and booking platforms belong to them. You may share links to the Site and quote short, attributed excerpts for personal, non-commercial purposes. Republishing, scraping, reselling, or creating substantial derivative works from Site content requires our written permission.
5.1 Copyright Concerns. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email us at tos@savannahvisitor.com with a description of the work and where it appears on the Site, and we will review it promptly.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not: scrape or copy the Site at a scale that burdens it or for commercial reuse; try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; interfere with the Site’s operation; use the Site for any unlawful purpose; or present Site content in a way that implies we endorse you or that the content is official government information.
7. Third-Party Sites
The Site links to websites we do not control, including booking platforms and operators’ own sites. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of those sites is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WEATHER, TIDES, TRAFFIC, CLOSURES, AND OPERATOR DECISIONS ARE OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR TRAVEL COSTS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS; AND (B) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY FOR OUR FRAUD OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
10. Indemnification
If you violate Section 6 or use the Site unlawfully, you agree to indemnify Pluripotent, LLC and its member, manager, employees, and contractors against third-party claims, and the reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees, arising from that misuse.
11. Changes
We may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply from that date forward and do not apply to any dispute that arose before the change. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by South Carolina law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a concern about the Site, please contact us first at tos@savannahvisitor.com; most problems can be resolved informally, and we ask that you give us thirty (30) days to try before filing a claim. Any lawsuit about the Site or these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies. Nothing in these Terms shortens the time you have to bring a claim under applicable law.
13. Notice to California Residents
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice. The Site is provided by Pluripotent, LLC, 6650 Rivers Ave., STE 100, Charleston, South Carolina 29406, tos@savannahvisitor.com. The Site is free to use. 14. Accessibility
We want the Site to be usable by everyone and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. If something on the Site is hard to use, email us at tos@savannahvisitor.com and we will work to fix it or get you the information another way.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://savannahvisitor.com/privacy/ explains what information the Site collects, including analytics and the cookies booking platforms use to track bookings made through affiliate links.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a sale or transfer of the Site. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
